Shoe Sonnet

Happy Valentines Day to all of you. I wrote this bit of fluff in the form of a sonnet (or at least I tried to conform to the rules of a sonnet as remembered from school all those years ago). Enjoy!

Words
For their Valentines to seem romantic
Sue and Pete were to go out on a date
But as Pete's day became so more frantic
But in forgetting sealed immortal fate

In Rage Sue changed Poor Peter's human frame
Now motionless he lies upon the floor
In a daze, he thought it was just a game
Naive to the terror he had in store

Pete soon saw this was in fact so real
Looking up at a now giant girl; Sue
She smiled down at her brand new white high heel
He could now grasp he was now a shoe

Pete's life gone now, he's devoted now whole
Eternity beneath her mighty sole
